On page ii the Preface to Port Vintages said: “It is intended to list errata and additions at www.PortVintages.com.” It has proven more convenient to host them at jdawiseman.com, which I hope will not inconvenience readers.
If you have material which could be in a later version, please send it to the author. Readers do want details, so please include pictures, provenance, cost, dates, tasting notes, biographies of notable drinkers, etc. Mae West: “Too much of a good thing can be wonderful”. And Mark Twain: “too much good whiskey is barely enough“ (he lived before air-conditioning in a climate too hot for Vintage Port, so can be forgiven the error).
